So the news is that Apple will keep a similar shape as the iPhone 4 for the new model, but its said to have a larger screen, faster dual core chip and as you see above a metal backing. If you remember iPhone 1 started with a metal backing, then they went to plastic for iPhone 3G and 3GS, for iPhone 4 they went glass. I personally like the glass, the metal back's not bad but not as sexy.
