Teariffic is local Chinatown modern teahouse. The menu has a wide variety of over 100 hot and cold drinks, ranging from traditional Chinese tea to a cold "Blazing Sun" made with egg yolk. We have been going there for years and not one drink has ever disappointed. As creatures of habit we often defer to our favorites- hot almond black tea with milk and tapioca and matcha agar with natural yogurt. The food and snacks there are also a winner. If you have a sweet tooth opt for the thick warm toast with condensed milk and strawberry jam. If you are looking for something more hearty try the salmon bowl with condiments or the chicken yakitori skewers. The service is always quick and the atmosphere is simple and friendly. Found on Mott street, the location is small and loud, so prepare yourself to sit in close quarters with other customers and compete with their conversations. We will be going to Teariffic for years to come, filling up our drink cards (buy 10 and get the next free) and working our way through the tasty delights that are hidden on the menu.
